The sprawling one-bedroom suite was well-equipped with a complete kitchen, making it easy to prepare meals. The proximity to the beach and nearby eateries enhanced the experience, with Dollys offering great dining options. The grounds were well-maintained, providing a pleasant backdrop for relaxation. However, the lack of air conditioning made it warm at times, and the rooms are overdue for renovations, which was noticeable during the stay. Overall, a good choice for families wanting more of a condo experience over traditional hotel amenities.

My stay at Sands Of Kahana Vacation Club was an enjoyable experience. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and well-equipped with a full kitchen, which made it convenient for meal preparation. The suite featured two full bathrooms, which was a great advantage. There were multiple amenities available, including BBQ grills and easy beach access. The staff was helpful in addressing my requests, and parking was adequate.
The lack of air conditioning was noticeable during hot days.

missingWrote a review on Aug 16spacious suitewell-stocked kitchendirect beach accessmissing air conditioning
Spacious one-bedroom suite with a well-stocked kitchen, perfect for preparing meals. Direct beach access just a short walk away makes it easy to enjoy sand and surf.
The absence of air conditioning in the humid environment was a real drag, leading to discomfort during our stay. Noise from nearby maintenance and the street made it tough to keep the windows open for some fresh air. Additionally, the limited elevator access made getting to our room a hike, especially after a long day out.

I thoroughly enjoyed my spacious two-bedroom unit, which was well-equipped and elegantly decorated. The beautiful common areas were easy to navigate, making it very accessible for seniors. I particularly appreciated the lovely views from my room.
Improved elevator access would be beneficial for seniors.

Had an awesome group trip! We enjoyed the on-site pools and played some tennis. The barbecues were perfect for evening cookouts after exploring. The beach was just a short walk, and we loved whale watching and a helicopter tour for stunning views. Can't wait to return!
The only drawback was that the elevator was out of service during our stay, which made getting to our room a bit of a hike at times.

I recently stayed for two nights and loved the ocean view from the spacious balcony and the upgraded kitchen in our suite! However, the restaurant food was a bit disappointing compared to our expectations.

During our stay, we enjoyed the family-friendly amenities like the separate kids' pool and easy access to the beach. After a day swimming and playing, we appreciated the convenience of the onsite restaurant, which offered simple but tasty meals that fit our busy schedule, especially with a toddler in tow.
In my wife’s opinion, the lack of privacy in the bathrooms was a definite downside for our family. A simple curtain in the master bath would greatly improve the experience for families with little ones.
